Team Leader Maintenance 80–100% (f/m/d) The opportunity

At our Surge Arrester Profit Center in Wettingen, you will work with us to develop, manufacture, and deliver innovative, reliable, and safe surge protection solutions for the power generation and distribution, railway, and industrial sectors. As Team Lead Maintenance, you will take on a responsible role and lead a dedicated team of six employees. Together, you ensure the reliable operation of all production equipment and technical systems within a highly automated process manufacturing environment. You will actively shape the development of maintenance—both strategically and operationally—while working closely and collaboratively with the management team and other departments.

The goal is to ensure high equipment availability, safety, and an efficient and sustainable organization.

• Further develop and strengthen the maintenance organization together with your team
• Plan, coordinate, and implement maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and holistic approaches)
• Initiate and drive sustainable strategies to improve equipment availability, productivity, and lifecycle
• Actively support and foster the professional and personal development of your team members
• Take responsibility for budget planning and promote a conscious and sustainable use of resources (including spare parts and inventory strategy)
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams on retrofit, new build, and investment projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Continuously improve processes and introduce modern digital tools and performance metrics

• A completed technical degree (e.g., engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in maintenance, ideally including a leadership role in an automated production environment
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, and industrial control systems
• Experience with structured maintenance approaches and continuous improvement
• Enjoy working collaboratively across functions
• A structured, solution‑oriented way of working combined with the ability to support and develop people
• Very good German and English language skills
