Asa
Control Engineer
atIvyPartners,youwillbetaskedwith:

• Developingtheapplicationlayerofcontrolsoftwarefortractionconvertersincustomerprojects,fromsoftwarerequirementsdefinitiontooperationalreleaseonthefinalsystem.
• Creatingandupdatingsoftwaredocumentationaccordingtodefinedstandardsandhomologationneeds.
• Testingandtroubleshootingsoftwareacrossvariousenvironments,suchasreal-timesimulatorsandlaboratories,andsupportingourcustomersduringcommissioningandhomologationonthevehicle.
  
  Pleasebepreparedtotravelbetween
  20to 30% ofthetime.
• Providingtechnicalsupporttopeers,other disciplines,andcustomersthroughoutprojectdevelopment,laboratorytesting,homologation,initialoperation,and service.
• Coordinatingtechnicalsolutionswithpeerstomaximizesoftwarereuse,minimizetheriskofbugs,andacceleratestandardization.

Youareouridealcandidateif:

• Youpossessauniversitydegreein Control Systems ,Electrical Engineering,Mechatronics,Computer Science,or equivalent.
• Youbringatleast4yearsofexperienceinsoftwaredevelopmentforclosed-loopcontrol,signal processing,algorithms,andreal-timeprogrammingmechanisms.
• YouareexperiencedwithIEC
  61131-3programminglanguages(CODESYS) andMatlab
  
  Simulink.
• Youarefamiliarwithsoftwareversioningtools(SVN,Git).
• Youapplyawell-structuredapproachtocreatinghigh-qualitysoftwareanddocumentation.
• Youhaveextensiveknowledgeinconvertercontrol,power electronics,ortheautomotiveandrailwayindustries.
• Youhaveexperiencewithcommunicationprotocolsandfieldbuses(CAN,TRDP,J1939,MVB,etc.).
• Understandingofsoftwaredevelopmentprocessstandards(likeEN
  50657,EN50128,orISO
  26262) isaplus.
• Youcaneffectivelycollaboratewithamultidisciplinaryteam,learn quickly,andareeagertotacklenewchallenges.
• Youarecreative,solution-focused,andpossessstrongcommunicationskillsinbothwrittenandspoken
