Your new role

As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering financial reporting and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. You will be involved in leading monthly and year-end reporting activities, statutory accounting and finance projects, while partnering with operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
• Supporting statutory accounts, compliance and audit requirements
• Producing financial analysis and performance reporting for stakeholders
• Supporting tax and VAT compliance processes
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency
• Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA qualification
• Previous experience within a financial accounting, statutory accounting or reporting-focused role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial information
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple stakeholder groups
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
