Risk Management & Business Continuity Specialist

Overview

Developing a Pan-EU Risk Management Framework: further develop, implement and maintain a consistent approach to risk management, crisis response, and business continuity across all the countries we operate in.

• Managing Travel Risks:
  Identify and manage potential threats to our employees, especially when they are traveling. Oversee the approval process for business travel based on country risk levels and ensure safety during major incidents.
• Crisis Management:
  Coordinate 54 EU crisis response teams, keeping plans and contact details up to date. Provide training and reminders on crisis roles and responsibilities to ensure everyone knows what to do when it matters most.
• Business Continuity Planning:
  Run the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity (BC) program. Work with business unit leaders to keep BC plans current and effective, and design and report on BC plan tests to maintain sharp strategies.
• Third-Party Risk Assessment:
  Evaluate the business continuity plans of our critical suppliers to minimize risks and ensure rapid recovery from disruptions.
• Focus:
  Design, maintain, and enforce the systems that keep our people safe and our business functioning across Europe. Be part of a supportive and passionate team working toward a common goal.

• Extensive experience in a risk & crisis management/business continuity position within a European organisation
• Excellent Microsoft Excel ability
• Planned & executed testing experience
• A date-first mentality, with a passion for creating insight-based reporting dashboards
• A resilient nature, with an ability to remain calm and composed when faced with pressure

• Travel risk exposure/experience (an ever-increasing element of the role)
• Knowledge and/or experience of working with an Emergency Notification System (ENS)
