About the roleTo deliver high-quality media education to students, inspiring creativity and preparing them for further study and employment in the creative industries.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, review and record learner progress.
- Maintain course and learner records.
- Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses.
- Degree in a relevant media subject (Film, Television, Animation, Digital media).
- Experience of teaching in further education – a distinct advantage.
- Teaching qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them with support.
- Recent graduates and people looking for a career change may be considered.
