Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – 22.2 hours per week, salary £24,105.57 per FTE (actual £14,463.34). Fixed term:
January 2026 – June 2026.

AboutThe Role
As a Learning Support Assistant you will work as part of a team of LSAs. Your role will include:
- Support learners in class 1:1 or in small groups, working at a range of levels from entry level to L3 across all curriculum areas.
- Use strategies to help students with reading, writing and maths skills.
- Support students during their exams.
- Keep careful records of all LSA support provided.
You Will Have:
- English & Maths level 2.
- A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one – a distinct advantage.
- Good IT, numeracy, oral and written communication skills.
- A sound understanding of the purpose of the Additional Learning Support function.
