KS1 Teaching Assistant

Overview

Teaching Assistant (KS1) – Mainstream Primary School (Surrey). We are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Surrey starting September 2026. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm), ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in their early school years.

• Supporting the class teacher within a KS1 classroom
• Working with small groups and individual pupils
• Assisting with learning activities and classroom organisation
• Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment

• Previous experience working in a UK primary school is essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, patient and supportive approach

Salary: £92.63 per day (PAYE starting rate)
