Deputy Safeguarding Lead
37 hours per week 8:30am 5pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am 4:30pm Friday. £33,500.89 FTE fixed term to end of December 2026 (with potential to be extended)

Are you passionate about safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young people? Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Safeguarding Lead, based at their Weybridge campus.
About the role:In this vital role, as Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, happiness, and academic success of their students. Your role will also include:
- Implement and monitor effective safeguarding policies and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to students experiencing difficulties, including those with SEN
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Deliver training and awareness-raising sessions on safeguarding and wellbeing
- Develop and implement action plans to address identified risks
- Experience in a safeguarding or related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing
