Hair Lecturer

Hair Lecturer- 18.5 hours per week - up to £39,714.22 FTE - dependent on skills, experience and qualifications. Based at Weybridge Campus. Brooklands Technical College is a further education college supporting young people and adults to take the next steps on their career path. Hair and Beauty offer a variety of courses for learners across Level 1 to L3, the learners range from age 14-19 through to adult education. As Hair Lecturer you will work as part of a team within the department delivering a range of high-quality courses, providing qualification and progression opportunities for all learners, within the curriculum area.

About the role:

As Hair Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these vocational programmes. Your role will include:

• Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
• Assess, review and record learner progress
• Maintain course and learner records
• Degree/HND or equivalent vocational professional qualification
• Certificate in Education or willingness to gain such qualification
• Level 2 in English and Maths
• Evidence of on-going professional development
• Assessor or Verifier qualified a distinct advantage
