Sports Lecturer

You’ll join a growing Sports department, delivering vocational programmes across Level 2 Sport and Level 3 National Diploma programmes in Sport, Fitness and Personal Training, with new sports facilities under development.

A salary of up to £20,000 per annum (up to £40,000 FTE) is available depending on qualifications and experience, alongside an attractive benefits package and generous holiday entitlement.

The role is part time , 18.5 hours per week, and based at a campus location within Surrey with good transport links from surrounding areas. Easily accessible from Woking, Ashford, Weybridge, Guildford, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Staines-upon-Thames and the wider Surrey area.

The Role ...

Deliver engaging, practical teaching across Sport and Fitness programmes.
Assess and support learner progress.
Maintain accurate learner and course records.
Embed employability skills and prepare learners for employment or further study.
Work collaboratively to provide an excellent learner experience.

About you ....

You’ll hold relevant professional qualifications at Level 4 or above, with strong knowledge of Sport or Fitness.
A Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent qualification is essential.
A Level 3 Assessor/Verifier Award would be advantageous, or you’ll be willing to work towards one.
Teaching or Further Education experience would be beneficial, but industry professionals looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply.
You’ll have excellent communication and IT skills and a genuine passion for supporting and motivating learners.
