Control Systems Engineer

Controls Engineer / Control Systems Engineer Global Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their Production Engineering team . This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing and optimising advanced automation solutions within a modern manufacturing environment. Youll work across control systems, SCADA/HMI platforms, and continuous improvement projects that drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, programme, and enhance control systems for both new and existing production equipment Configure and maintain SCADA and HMI systems to improve machine efficiency and reliability Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while supporting manufacturing operations Collaborate with engineering and production teams across multiple sites on equipment upgrades and process improvement initiatives Contribute to the delivery of automation and smart manufacturing projects Candidate Requirements Degree qualified ( BEng Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline ) Proven experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (Mitsubishi experience preferred) Knowledge of VFD/VSD drives , Ether Net/IP , Modbus , and CC-Link protocols Previous experience working within a live manufacturing or production environment Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Desirable: 5 years experience within a Controls Engineering role Whats On Offer Competitive salary up to £68,000 Opportunity to work on innovative automation and manufacturing technologies Collaborative and supportive engineering environment Ongoing career development and progression opportunities across multiple s
