Director of Finance

The Director of Finance will lead and manage the College's Finance Function, Estates Operations, Capital Planning, and Sustainability Strategy. Working directly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the post holder plays a central role in organisational development, governance reporting, and ensuring the College maintains robust financial health and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven experience in financial leadership-ideally within a small to mid-sized organisation. They will combine strategic insight with operational oversight, possess strong people management skills, and be confident communicating financial matters to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The post is offered full time, full-year or term-time + 3 weeks (42 weeks per year), ideal for someone looking for better balance without sacrificing leadership responsibility. The starting salary will be dependent on experience and includes access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and generous annual leave (up to 10 weeks per year).
