Location:
London (Hybrid Working, 2 days in the office) Job Type: 6 month FTC A leading professional services firm is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to serve as a financial advisor to the firm's fee-earning business units. This role is crucial in providing financial insights that assist in business decision-making, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and playing a key part in finance projects aimed at modernising the firm's reporting.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide proactive financial business partnering support to fee-earning business units and build strong relationships with senior leaders. Prepare financial management information for departments, partners, and specified users. Support budgeting and forecasting for fee-earning business units. Prepare ad hoc analysis of performance and trends, including variance analysis, costs, income, profitability drivers, and annual surveys. Drive data accuracy and integrity, ensuring correct use of the firm’s systems and data hierarchies.
Develop and implement improved management reporting tools and processes. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or equivalent qualifications; may be part qualified or a qualified professional within a discipline or have extensive equivalent experience. Experience in professional services or a partnership environment. Ability to handle most situations independently using judgement and experience, with the capability to seek advice on more complex problems. Strong ability to establish, maintain, and influence strong and credible relationships. Proficient in analysing and interpreting complex information/data and understanding its impact on the discipline and wider firm.
High computer literacy and understanding of relevant software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with both technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels. High levels of commitment and proactive in taking necessary actions. Team-focused mentality, with an understanding that success is achieved through collaboration. Benefits:
