IT Business Analyst

Position: IT Business Analyst (Permanent)
Location: Elmbridge

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Business Analyst to act as the vital link between our IT department and the wider business. In this role, you’ll ensure clear two‑way communication, capture and assess change requests, and help deliver solutions that genuinely support business goals.

You’ll work closely with IT, Business and Transformation teams to translate ideas into practical, fit‑for‑purpose solutions—delivered to a transparent and well‑managed schedule.

What You’ll Bring

Business analysis experience gained in a commercial environment.
Strong technical acumen, with experience across complex multi‑user cloud and on‑premises systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, explain technical concepts, and adapt your style to different audiences and levels of seniority.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel to produce high‑quality presentations and documentation.
Agile project management skills, applying relevant business analysis methodologies to drive progress and deliver value.
A track record of helping deliver IT solutions that enhance product and business performance.

Qualifications

A degree or equivalent experience.
A recognised business analysis qualification.

The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

Analysing business requirements and translating them into clear, actionable IT deliverables.
Communicating complex technical information in a concise and accessible way for non‑technical audiences.
Managing multiple work streams and supporting the delivery of IT projects using agile methodologies.
Participating in workshops and discovery sessions.
Providing regular updates to business stakeholders and the Transformation team on project progress.
Ensuring solutions support the ongoing development of our Travel Risk Management product suite.

Required Criteria

Commercial experience in business analysis
Experience working with complex multi-user cloud and on-premises systems
The ability to drive agile projects using PRINCE2 methodology or similar
At least 3 days per week office presence
Desired Criteria

A degree or equivalent.
A recognised qualification in business analysis.
