Responsibilities
⦁ Develop, test, and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines
⦁ Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programme creation.
⦁ Set up CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures, ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance.
⦁ Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to programmes or machine settings.
⦁ Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
⦁ Maintain detailed records of programme versions, modifications, and machine performance data.
Qualifications
⦁ Proven experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment.
⦁ Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
⦁ CNC Milling (3‑Axis)
⦁ Programming, setting, and operating ( May consider skilled Setter Operators)
⦁ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensions and tolerances
⦁ Experience in CAD software such as Solid Works and familiarity with CAM software is advantageous
⦁ Positive attitude with a focus on safety, reliability, and organisation
