Channel Marketing Manager - Digital Imaging

We are seeking a Field Marketing Manager for Imaging, who will take the lead with demand creation and spreading product knowledge in UK market through field marketing activities. Your primary focus is to maximise Sony digital imaging Offline presence, product knowledge and expertise, toward both, end customers and our photo retailers. As an imaging expert, the objective is to ensure Sony delivers state of the art event and training experiences and grow product expertise internally as externally.

As leader of 4 local imaging experts (Alpha Force) the role also focus on the resources optimization to reach the biggest imaging communities in the industry whilst building and nurturing a strong relationship with the photo retailers. The role despite being offline focus, also requires data capture and online activities publication as part of 360 activations. You should be someone who wants to be out in the field with the customers, retailers, ambassadors, influencers and promoters.

You should understand the market and the key players, and absolutely know how to engage and inspire confidence in our product line up. You will:

• Lead and develop the four-person Alpha Force team, setting objectives, action plans and performance measures aligned with long-term imaging goals.
• Build the Alpha Force event calendar with key photo retailers and Key Account Managers, prioritising core photography communities and working with specialist teams where required.
• Plan and deliver impactful retail and industry activations, including in-store campaigns, national events, demonstrations, hands‑on experiences and promoter staffing.
• Drive event awareness and attendance across Sony, retailer, ambassador and digital channels, including Alpha Universe UK and social platforms.
• Adapt central product materials for the UK market and deliver new product introductions and training, ensuring the Alpha Force has the knowledge and resources to train customers and retail partners.
• Partner with the Channel Head and wider sales teams to develop activation plans that increase sales and strengthen Sony's offline presence.
• Maintain event reporting, assess ROI and KPIs, capture customer data and use insights to improve future activity and eCRM follow-up.

• Imaging expertise in photography and ideally also in videography.
• Commercially driven, ambitious, and a clear communicator for public speaking and relationship building.
• Organising and participating to imaging industry events.
• Assets creation, content management and UX are valued.
• Experience leading or managing people.
• Ability travel UK wide from 5 to 10 days a month (some overnights too), Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop.
