Solar PV Maintenance Engineer
Weybridge-based role covering London and the Southeast. £40,000‑46,000 + Company vehicle & fuel card + More benefits.
OverviewAn award‑winning renewable energy provider is expanding and looking for an approved Solar Maintenance and Installation Engineer to join their high‑performing team. With a strong pipeline of work across high‑end residential, commercial and industrial projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking, fast‑growing business.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of Solar PV systems. Projects include schools, colleges, luxury homes and commercial properties.
Duties- Installation and maintenance of Solar PV systems on residential, commercial and industrial properties.
- Lead and execute projects with a high standard of workmanship and efficiency.
- Carry out Solar PV system upgrades and improvements to the highest quality standards.
- Reactive repairs: troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.
- 18th Edition & C&G 2391 or 2394/5 (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year’s experience with Solar PV systems
- Solar PV & EESS certificates
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong inspection and testing knowledge
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexible, professional, and positive approach
- SSSTS, IPAF or PASMA certifications – Advantageous!
- Salary: £40,000‑46,000 per annum
- Excellent overtime rates: time and a half (evenings/Saturdays), double time (Sundays/Bank Holidays)
