HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Weighbridge on a long‑term/temp‑to‑perm basis. Both AM and PM shifts are available, working any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends).

You will be required to carry out multi‑drop deliveries of palletised goods, with a maximum of 8 drops per day. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using a tail lift, and ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day‑to‑day basis.

Pre‑parity rates 1‑12 wks

AM 0600‑1759: £15.11 PAYE £16.93 holiday inclusive approximately £931.15 weekly (based on 55 hours)

PM 1800‑0559: £17.37 PAYE £19.46 holiday inclusive approximately £1070.30 weekly (based on 55 hours)

Post‑Parity 13+ wks

Overtime rates £22.67‑£48.67 depending on day and hours worked.

• HGV 2 license – New Pass Welcome
• HGV 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of drivers' hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude
