Facilities & Site Support Operative

Full UK Driving Licence required (minimum 12 months)

ISS is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities & Site Support Operative to join our team at Defra Weybridge. This is a varied and hands‑on role supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of site services while delivering high standards in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.

The role operates during weekdays (specific hours dependent on the position secured). Flexibility will be required to provide cover for holidays and absences within the wider team.

• Coordinate daily bottled milk and ambient vending consumable deliveries across the main site and ASUs
• Maintain accurate delivery logs for auditing and cost tracking purposes
• Manage and track movement of consumables across site
• Provide ad hoc collections and deliveries as required
• Provide reception cover during breaks, lunches, and team absences (training provided)
• Support reprographics and general messenger duties when required
• Assist with transporting ISS company vans for servicing, MOTs, and repairs
• Complete daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as requested
• Build positive working relationships with end users and the Defra client team
• Ensure high housekeeping standards across all work areas
• Comply with all client and ISS policies, including uniform and PPE requirements

• Follow all company and client safety procedures at all times
• Use work equipment and PPE correctly in accordance with training
• Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and safety concerns promptly
• Work safely with due consideration for others

• Good standard of general education
• Basic written English and good spoken English
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
