Student Services Counsellor

Position: Student Services Counsellor Role Available
Advance student welfare at South East Cornerstone Public School Division as a Student Services Counsellor.

Your role includes supporting students at Assiniboia Park Elementary, Ogema, and Pangman Schools.

This 0.7 FTE permanent position requires dedication, working 26.25 hours per week and reporting to the Mental Health Consultant. You will assess students' needs, provide therapeutic support, and maintain communication with families and educational personnel, striving to uphold the Division's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address student's educational needs

• Offer therapeutic interventions to improve student functioning

• Generate reports for parents and educational staff

• Engage in meetings to discuss student progress and strategies

• Provide workshops on relevant topics for school staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of social work experience

• 2+ years working with children and youth

• Valid Driver's License

• Commitment to the public education mission
