Student Services Counsellor Position

Position: Student Services Counsellor Position Available
Support student success as a Student Services Counsellor with South East Cornerstone Public School Division. This role is a 0.7 FTE position working 26.25 hours weekly.

You will be responsible for delivering critical support services at Assiniboia Park Elementary, Ogema, and Pangman Schools. This permanent role entails assessing students, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educators and parents to foster social and educational growth. Your expertise will be essential for guiding students' well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with an active Student Services team

• Conduct assessments and provide evaluations

• Offer adaptive support both in classrooms and groups

• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff

• Submit required documentation and annual reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience

• At least 2 years of child counselling training

• Valid Driver's License needed

• Commitment to supporting public education values
