Join Dominic Place as a Temporary Educational Assistant and make a difference in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. This full-time role emphasizes support for high needs children from September 21 to December 22, 2026.
As a Temporary Educational Assistant, you will engage with Pre-Kindergarten students, providing necessary support to enhance their learning experience. Your background in Early Childhood Development or a related field will be beneficial. Strong skills in handling emotional needs and medical support are preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and support high needs children effectively
• Assist Pre-Kindergarten children with personal tasks
• Collaborate in therapeutic and medical assistance
• Ensure students' well-being during activities
• Foster a safe and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary training or experience
• Understanding of Roman Catholic Faith practices an asset
• First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license mandatory
• Recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
