OBGYN Physician

At South Shore Health, we come together to improve the health of our family, friends and neighbors by bringing people, caregivers and excellence in medicine together. We are looking for an experienced OBGYN Physician to join the team at our Weymouth, MA location. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all delivery-related procedures, including routine wellness exams, pap smears, contraception consultations, IUD insertions, endometrial biopsies and colposcopies
• Create a care plan for each patient that includes a full history, physical exam, diagnosis and necessary treatment or referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and support staff, and patients and their families about patient care
• Conduct both major and minor surgeries in the office or hospital, providing obstetric and gynecological care following accepted standards
• Operate bedside ultrasound equipment, NST Interpretation for obstetric patients, and provide consultation for hospitalized patients
• Manage labor and delivery triage, as well as antepartum and postpartum units
• Support APCs in supervision and consultation
• Maintain detailed and timely records using EPIC
• Provides ED coverage when needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts
• Completion of Accredited OB/GYN Residency Program
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
