Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Developmental Disabilities requires participation in comprehensive physical health assessments for Vinfen clients. Work occurs in a clinically intensive program tailored to individuals with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or psychiatric conditions with complex health needs. Collaborate with individuals served, families, friends, employers, and support staff to help transform lives.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and administer medications under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines.
- Assist individuals to participate in their communities and employ rehabilitation values, principles and techniques, including skills training, to promote independence.
- Communicate changes in status to appropriate individuals, perform assessments with any change of status, and provide skilled nursing interventions as indicated.

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred, but experience may substitute for education. High school diploma or GED required.
- Current L.P.N. license.
- 1–2 years of supervised practical experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Experience with psychiatric conditions and/or co-occurring disorders strongly preferred.
- Strong time management and writing skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a current, valid US driver's license for at least 6 months.
- Must become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
All candidates must pass CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record checks.
PayUSD $37.50 per hour
