SCHEDULE:
Sun, 5p-11p & Wed, 3p-7p

Responsibilities
  • Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with: goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation and administration of medication.
  • Implement treatment plans that help clients reach goals and manage symptoms.
  • Help clients develop independence and enhance quality of life.
Education and Qualifications
  • Education:

    HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences toward an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in health and human services field and/or related education or training.
  • We provide ongoing training and development.
  • Patience and an understanding and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system.
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and safe driving record; driving experience and access to a personal vehicle required at some sites.
  • CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required.
