Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will contribute significantly to our mission by delivering excellent diagnostic imaging services. This position offers you the opportunity to work at our 541 Main Street location in Weymouth, MA. You will be the only technologist present, enabling you to establish and sustain the highest quality of care.

• Preparing patients for vascular ultrasound exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying gel to the skin.
• Operating ultrasound equipment, such as transducers and monitors, to produce images of blood vessels.
• Interpreting ultrasound images to identify vascular abnormalities.
• Detailing exam findings in the patient's medical record.
• Communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers about exam findings.

• Proven experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist.
• Credential in vascular ultrasound technology.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures.

• Associate's Degree – Radiologic Technology required.
• Possess a registered vascular technologist (RVT) credential.
• Must be certified by the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), an RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) or obtain this credential within one year of employment.
• Related diagnostic ultrasound experience, either from past employment or training program.
• BLS certification.
