South Shore Health System invites experienced Medical‑Surgical RNs to join the Birthing Unit Transition to Practice Program. The 14‑week pathway runs January 11, 2027 through April 16, 2027, combining classroom instruction, hands-on clinicals, simulation, and mentor guidance to prepare nurses for Labor & Delivery.
Selected candidates will advance to an independent staff nurse role in the Birthing Unit upon successful program completion. Strong teamwork and patient‑centered care are essential.
