As we expand our 2025 advertising and events portfolio, we’re seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative who thrives in relationship‑building and loves the South Shore as much as we do.

Position Overview

Are you a motivated, people‑oriented sales professional who knows how to open doors, build trust, and close deals? This role is ideal for someone who loves being out in the community, networking with business owners, and selling advertising solutions that truly support local growth.

As an Outside Sales Representative for SSHLS, you will be responsible for driving revenue through advertising sales across our print magazine, digital platforms, social media channels, and signature events—like our high‑profile BOSS Bash

This is a flexible, commission‑based role with exceptional earning potential for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close advertising and sponsorship opportunities with local and regional businesses
• Build long‑term relationships with business owners, marketing directors, and community leaders
• Present customized multi‑channel advertising solutions across print, digital, events, and custom publications
• Maintain a strong presence throughout the South Shore (networking events, storefront visits, etc.)
• Manage an organized sales pipeline with weekly activity and revenue goals
• Collaborate with our editorial and production teams to ensure seamless client experience
• Represent the SSHLS brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of our audience and reach

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in sales (media, advertising, real estate, or hospitality preferred—but not required)
• A natural relationship‑builder who genuinely enjoys connecting with local businesses
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the South Shore region and its business landscape is a major plus
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the region
