Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team and play a key role in shaping the company’s future success. This is a key position for someone who can drive business growth, identify and secure new opportunities, and build excellent rapport with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
- Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to develop strategic growth plans
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and identify market opportunities
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
- Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered on time and to budget
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
- Represent the business professionally to clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with sectors such as defence, aerospace, or scientific industries
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, credible, and confident when engaging with technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your own sales pipeline
- This is a hybrid role with required onsite presence in Weymouth during the week
