We are working in partnership with a highly regarded national housing developer who is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a residential development in Weymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to progress their career with a well-established and respected house builder known for quality, consistency, and strong staff development.

The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with the daily management of the site

* Ensuring health & safety standards are adhered to at all times

* Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site

* Monitoring quality and workmanship across plots

* Assisting with inspections and NHBC compliance

* Supporting programme delivery and handovers

* Maintaining site records and reports

* Promoting a clean, safe, and well-organised site

About You

* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential housing projects

* Strong knowledge of health & safety and build processes

* Experience with traditional housing construction (timber frame experience advantageous)

* Able to work effectively with subcontractors and site teams

* Organised, proactive, and keen to develop into a Site Manager role

Qualifications (preferred)

* SMSTS or SSSTS

* CSCS Card

* First Aid at Work
