Site Manager – Residential Housing

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded national housing developer who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a residential housing development in Weymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established house builder with a strong reputation for build quality, robust processes, and long-term career progression.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of a residential development, leading site teams and subcontractors while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

* Full day-to-day management of the site

* Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are met

* Managing subcontractors, labour, and material deliveries

* Driving programme performance and meeting build targets

* Ensuring homes are delivered to the required quality standards

* Liaising with NHBC inspectors and internal stakeholders

* Monitoring costs and controlling site expenditure

* Maintaining accurate site records and reports

* Leading, motivating, and developing site teams

About You

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housing

* Strong knowledge of traditional housing construction (timber frame experience advantageous)

* Excellent understanding of NHBC standards and H&S legislation

* Confident leader with strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to manage programmes, quality, and cost effectively

Qualifications (essential / preferred)

* SMSTS

* CSCS Black Card

* First Aid at Work
