Position Overview
Pay Grade Dorset Grade 9, Point 19-25 FTE (£32,061 to £36,363)
Actual Pro Rata Pay (£24,332 to £27,597, Hourly rate £16.62 to £18.85)
Fixed term until 21/07/2027. This will be a term‑time position, working 32.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm with a half hour lunch). Consideration may be given to extend the contract or make the position permanent for the right candidate.
Role SummaryThe role will involve covering classes from Reception to Year 6, on a regular and ad‑hoc basis – for example, regular teacher, subject leader or phase leader release time, or stepping in to cover or support at short notice when staff absence requires it.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. It will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
