Position: Teacher for St Andrew's CE Primary School

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Class Teacher (KS2) to join our welcoming and ambitious school community from September 2026 on a 0.6 FTE, fixed term contract.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or will achieve this before September 2026
  • We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their career, including ECTs
  • Has a secure understanding of effective primary teaching practice, including phonics
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching for all pupils
  • Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that build on prior learning
  • Uses assessment effectively to identify misconceptions and adapt teaching responsively
  • Has high expectations for behaviour, presentation and achievement
  • Can effectively adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Is reflective, organised, enthusiastic and committed to ongoing professional development
  • Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
