XS 8.4b – Grade 6 (SCP 6‑9)
12 hours per week (flexibly over 2 or 3 days, term time only)
Westfield is the lead school of the Teaching Alliance of Dorset Special Schools (TADSS). The successful applicant will provide general admin and finance support for the TADSS Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining records and databases for outreach requests
- Preparing fliers and taking bookings for courses and conferences
- Collating and analysing course evaluations
- Social media and website updates
- Assisting with the set‑up of conferences and courses
- Booking venues and catering
- Taking minutes at TADSS board meetings
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self‑initiative and ability to work unsupervised
- Flexibility to accommodate workload fluctuations around conferences, courses and meetings
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with the Government’s safer recruitment guidelines

Pro‑rata salary based on the number of hours and weeks worked, including paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The quoted salary is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert; it will be paid in equal monthly instalments and adjusted at the start of employment and if part‑way through the school year.
This role is UK based;
Right to Work must be established as part of the appointment process. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
The role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check and an online safeguarding search will be conducted as part of the selection process.
