Midday Supervisor

XS2.4a Dorset Grade 2 + 2

LMI - £6,514 + 2

LMI pro rated per annum (pay award pending).

11.25 Hours per week - Monday to Friday (11.40am to 1.55pm)

Permanent - Term Time Only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. The role includes supervising and supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities during the lunch period, both in the hall and on the playground.

The right person will
  • Be passionate about helping young people develop confidence, independence and self-esteem.
  • Have some experience and/or training to support children of all ages with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Use therapeutic approaches to understand and support behaviour.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relational skills with children, young people and colleagues.
  • Be creative and draw on a range of skills to meet diverse needs.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and to contributing positively to the school’s ethos.
