Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Maintenance Engineer role based in Weymouth, Dorset. A hands-on engineer is sought to fault find, maintain, and work on a variety of industrial machinery within a stable and supportive manufacturing environment. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown repairs to keep plant reliability and minimise downtime.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown repairs across a range of specialist production and packaging equipment.
• Work as part of a small engineering team to maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime.
• Assist with improving maintenance strategies and asset performance in a fast-paced production environment.

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• A recognised engineering qualification.

• Electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Multi-skilled maintenance background.
• Experience working on printing, packaging, converting, or automated production equipment.

• Salary: £41,160 per annum.
