The Senior Care Assistant role at Crecy care home in Weymouth offers an experienced care professional the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment with a welcoming and specialized support team. Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Care Assistant at Crecy care home, you will ensure that residents receive personalized care, including bathing, dressing, and oral care, while actively promoting their right to choice and independence. You will contribute to and carry out care reviews to ensure residents' plans reflect their needs. Additionally, you will administer residents' medication in a safe and compliant manner, as well as lead and participate in trips, social engagements, and activities within the home.
You may also be called upon to support new or existing staff with shadowing and development, and potentially lead the home when more senior managers are not available.

Where you'll be working- to view the care home:
- Care Quality Commission Rating - Good
- £12.75 per hour
- Refer a friend scheme earn up to £1000
- Fully funded training up to QCF level 5
- Company pension scheme
- On demand pay
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- 48 hours per week
- Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
- Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
- Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
- Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
- Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
