Senior Night Care Assistant Bosworth Care Home, Weymouth Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours:
42 hours per week working from 8pm to 8am on a two weekly rolling rota to include alternative weekends

Together we create a warm, friendly atmosphere where residents feel safe, cared for and truly Role A day in the life of a Senior Night Care Assistant Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence Review
-You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs. Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home. Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available
What Were Looking For A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Shift patten 42 hours per week working from 8pm to 8am on a two weekly rolling rota to include alternative weekends Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65 Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show empathy to people under your care
