We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our HR team in Weymouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources, gaining experience across the full employee lifecycle while playing a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations and Early Careers programmes.

Working closely with HR Business Partners, managers, apprentices, graduates, placement students and employees across the business, you'll help ensure our HR processes run smoothly while supporting initiatives that attract, develop and retain talented people. The role has a strong focus on administration, coordination and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities and delivering a high-quality service.

The Role:

As our HR Administrator, you'll provide administrative and coordination support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
HR Administration

  • Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters and employee correspondence.

  • Providing administrative support for employee relations, performance management and absence management processes.

  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR systems are accurate and mean that our people are paid correctly.

  • Supporting onboarding and induction activities for new starters and processing employee lifecycle changes including promotions, transfers and leavers.

  • Assisting with the preparation of HR reports, metrics and management information.

Early Careers Coordination

  • Coordinating our placement and graduate student programme, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement activities and ongoing support.

  • Administering apprenticeship programmes and liaising with training providers.

  • Coordinating work experience placements and acting as a key point of contact for participants and managers

  • Organising and supporting careers fairs, STEM events and outreach activities with schools, colleges and universities.

  • Supporting the learning and development activities for our student cohort across the site.

  • Maintaining programme records, tracking key milestones and producing reports.

About you:

We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused individual who is keen to develop their career in Human Resources.

This opportunity may be of interest to candidates who:

  • Hold a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline; or

  • Have previous experience working in an HR Administrator or similar administrative role and are looking to further develop their HR knowledge, skills and career.

You’ll also:

  • Have a genuine interest in employee development, early careers programmes and creating a positive employee experience.

  • Be eager to learn, take on new challenges and build a successful career within HR.

  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Be confident communicating with employees, managers and external partners at all levels.

  • Have strong administrative, planning and coordination skills.

  • Enjoy managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.

  • Have a proactive approach and enjoy finding solutions to problems.

  • Be comfortable using a variety of technology.

  • Previous experience within HR administration, recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, apprenticeship coordination or a customer-service-focused administrative role would be advantageous, but we’re equally keen to hear from candidates with the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to developing a career in HR.

What we will offer you:

This 12-month fixed-term opportunity offers the chance to gain valuable, hands-on HR experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Whether you are looking to build on existing HR experience, broaden your administrative expertise, or further develop your professional HR knowledge, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of HR activities, projects and early careers initiatives that will support your growth and development.

Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while developing practical skills and experience across the employee lifecycle.

We believe our people deserve to feel supported, valued and empowered, both inside and outside…
