Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (3900 Pierce St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) is currently seeking a part‑time Administrative Assistant and Ministry Coordinator (Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm). The schedule may be flexible. Candidates should be able to multitask, have excellent communication skills, and have an upbeat attitude to assist the Pastor, ministries, staff, and parishioners by managing office and ministry responsibilities, providing polite and professional assistance, and advancing the parish’s mission.

Responsibilities Administrative Duties
  • Greeting parishioners and visitors.
  • Answering and transferring phone calls.
  • Distributing mail.
  • Maintaining clear, polite, and professional communication in person, via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Publishing the weekly bulletin.
  • Updating the website.
  • Updating the parish database.
  • Handling office tasks such as filing, setting up meetings, and ordering supplies.
  • Entering data such as sacramental information or new parishioner registrations.
  • Maintaining and updating the parish calendar, Mass intentions, and space reservations.
  • Other duties assigned.
Ministry Duties
  • Coordinating and guiding volunteer and ministry leaders.
  • Cultivating new volunteers and organizing ministry training sessions.
  • Developing volunteer schedules using the ministry scheduler software.
  • Coordinating funerals, weddings, and outreach in conjunction with the Pastor.
  • Other duties assigned.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Must be a practicing Catholic eager to carry out the mission of the Church.
  • 2–4‑year college degree is preferred.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Prior administrative experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting and anticipating deadlines.
  • Leadership presence and a team player.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
