About this roleAs a PRN Physician in Palliative Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will collaborate with a well-established Hospice and Palliative Care team, providing as-needed support across our inpatient Hospice Unit, inpatient Palliative Care service, and occasional telehealth visits. This work includes assisting patients with goals-of-care discussions, symptom management, medication optimization, and care coordination.
Responsibilities- You will work primarily at the Lutheran Hospice Collier Hospice Center and provide coverage for our Inpatient Palliative Care team at Lutheran, Good Samaritan, Platte Valley and St. Joseph's.
- We are seeking coverage for weekends, nights, and holidays, with a regular cadence that can be tailored to your availability.
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Medicine
- 2+ years of experience strongly preferred
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Not accepting candidates requiring visas at this time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
