Position: Project Geologist / Scientist / Engineer

Project Geologist / Scientist / Engineer

Location:

Denver, CO. Salary range: $158,100 - $237,300 per year. 2 days ago posted. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple small- to large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget, and within regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead field investigations including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling; monitor well installations; oversee soil/groundwater remediation activities.
  • Develop and implement scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals.
  • Coordinate and mentor project staff, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Oversee and track project budgets and schedules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical reports, remediation plans, and regulatory submittals.
  • Interface with ECMC to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to strict health, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Experience:

    5–7+ years in environmental consulting, site investigation, or remediation (oil & gas sector experience preferred) with demonstrated progress in managing projects.
  • Technical

    Skills:
    • Strong background in soil/groundwater investigation and remediation.
    • Familiarity with ECMC regulations.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, GIS, or data management tools is a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
    Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem‑solving abilities, and proven leadership skills.
