Phlebotomist – Full Time Contract
Location:
Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 (onsite). Duration: 2 months. Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm MST.
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
- Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information and initials, obtain patient signature post‑venipuncture, and ensure tubes are correctly labeled in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- Experience: 1–3 years phlebotomy experience (inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) required. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service settings highly preferred. Keyboard/data‑entry experience desired.
- Pay Rate: $20–$24.00 per hour.
