Join McCarl’s Technical Services (MTS) as a Lab Technician and contribute to high-quality mineral processing and materials testing in a dynamic and growth-focused environment. This entry-level position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals eager to learn technical procedures and support laboratory operations.

• Conduct daily laboratory testing safely and accurately in compliance with OSHA standards and internal SOPs.
• Receive, label, log, and prepare samples using techniques such as drying, crushing, and pulverizing.
• Maintain clean lab conditions and ensure proper disposal or archiving of samples.
• Perform basic sample analysis and document results in lab notebooks and reports.
• Support quality control and data tracking efforts using Excel and Word.
• Assist in general lab maintenance and contribute to team initiatives.
• Travel occasionally to client or company sites as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• No prior lab experience necessary; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness to learn technical processes and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with moderate supervision.
• Valid driver’s license; MSHA certification may be required post-hire.

This is a part time position

Salary Range: $20-$22/hour
