Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) night shift position in Colorado requiring a CO or compact license and a year of recent specialty experience.

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Care for adult IMC patient population requiring intermediate level monitoring and nursing interventions
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week, for a 10-week contract
• Use of EPIC EMR for charting
• May require floating to other departments within competency and qualifications
• Potential on-call assignments during scheduled shifts
• Perform independent and delegated nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Deliver health education and counseling to patients and families
• Document care according to hospital and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and refer patients for further treatment as needed
• All staff are expected to promote the organization's mission, vision, and values
• Specific dress code, vaccination, and compliance requirements may apply

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state, not pending
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Intermediate Care (IMC) or closely related specialty
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required (must not expire before start date)
• Familiarity and experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• No former permanent employment at Intermountain facilities within the last year
