American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts,
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need and within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS required, with certifications not expiring prior to start date
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous RN experience preferred

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Returning employees must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
