American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care Unit position on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS; TNCC preferred
- Certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- No pending license allowed
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
- Work in a hospital Intermediate Care Unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts,
- Rotating weekend requirement
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for charting
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
