About the job : The general practice veterinary technician manages client appointments and diagnostics for routine and sick visits. Our GP has a high volume of dental procedures, so pre‑anesthetic work‑ups and dental x‑ray and cleaning are large portions of the daily workflow.
How you'll make a difference
- Client communication and education about illness and preventive care
- Providing patient care and administration of medications/vaccines
- Dental hygienist & dental x‑ray technician
- Running anesthesia from beginning to end, including pre/post op care of patients.
- Assisting GP Doctors as needed
What you will bring
- Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician
- Strong in anesthesia and sedation
- Basic understanding of common medications and parasiticides
- Ability to analyze diagnostic samples a plus (ear/skin cytology, fecal floats, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
- Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long‑term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

Schedule : Full‑time position, 4x10 shifts ranging from 7:00 am‑8 pm, with a blend of weekdays and weekends required
Salary : $24.00 – $29.00 /hour based on experience
