• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to proactively set, maintain and adjust salesfloor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Comply with federal, state and local adult beverage laws as applicable.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely; follow safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Thrive in a fast-moving, physically active role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate across multiple devices and operate handheld scanners or other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds; handle occasional heavy lifting.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures (e.g., 34°F to
  -10°F) and potentially in spaces with allergens; drive-up and carryout duties may involve exposure to elements.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
