Position Summary

Administrative Assistant to provide assistance for the In Year Summer School Principal in preparation for the program to be run June and July. This includes, but is not limited to, organizing files, preparing documents, managing spreadsheets, helping with registration, and other duties as assigned. The role is a temporary voucher position.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative support for the In Year Summer School Principal in preparation for the program (June and July), including organizing files, preparing documents, managing spreadsheets, helping with registration, and other duties as assigned.
  • Operate office equipment, perform basic data entry, maintain records and scheduling
    .
  • Provide professional written and oral communications and interact constructively with others.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys, and electronic media
    .
  • Present information effectively and respond to questions from individuals and groups
    .
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community members
    .
  • Maintain current job skills as directed, especially in technology-related activities
    .
  • Perform essential duties with awareness of district requirements and School Board policies
    .
Qualifications
  • Must be proficient in typing (45 wpm) and experienced in general computer programs such as Word and Excel
    .
  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment, do basic data entry, and maintain records and scheduling
    .
  • Should have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact constructively with others
    .
